McLeod Ganj
McLeod Ganj is a suburb of Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is known as "Little Lhasa" or "Dhasa" because of its large population of Tibetans.It is about 15 km from Dharamshala
In 1850 , Brithisers annexed this area after Secoind SIKH-ANGLO war. McLeod Ganj has an average elevation of about 6000 feet.
The place is to visit there is TRIUND . A trek of about 3 hours of one side and many other points to visit are:
Gir Paragliding
Bhagsunag Temple,
Bhagsunag waterafall,
Dal Lake,
Dalai Lama Temple
Monastery.
You can also visit the Cricket Stadium in Dharamshala and Palampur for beautiful view and weather. Its better to visit in winter to visit this place .
Palampur is about 40 km from Mcleodganj . It is a hill station . It’s known for its tea gardens like the Palampur Cooperative Tea Factory
